Mishmash is an independent daytime cafe and night-time restaurant located on Ecclesall Road, where we pride ourselves on offering the best local produce, expertly cooked by our head chef, all served in a down to earth and comfortable environment We serve brunch and gourmet sandwiches every morning till 4pm, and provide a relaxed dining experience serving more complex dishes after 6pm.
Our brunch menu consists of all the old favourites from a full english to a rather more refined smoked salmon and poached eggs number (with homemade hollandaise sauce). At lunch we serve up a selection of gourmet sandwiches ranging from our must have fish finger creation to a hummus and mixed vegetable affair - and of course they are all homemade.
We serve a huge selection of non-alcholic and alchoholic beverages (excellent wine list and our pick of the best local ales and international beers and lagers), fresh fair trade coffees and a huge selection of loose leaf teas available all day.
You can even treat yourself to a slice of cake supplied by the award winning Fancie cupcake shop (located on Sharowvale Road).
Our food in the evening is predominantly modern British with a continental twist, we are heavily influenced by the seasons, and wherever possible use organic & wild produce. All of our food is homemade from the sauces which accompany the sandwiches to the delicious desserts.
